A DEATH TRAP

KUIRAU HOT SPRINGS. (Per Press Association). Rotorua, Nov, 25. The inquest on Maude Noble w held to-day and a verdict that site died as a result of severe scalds re ceived by accidental slipping into a hot pool at Kuirau reserve r.n November 13 was returned. The jury added a rider to the effect that steps should be taken by th* responsible authorities to protect this reserve, which is exceedingly danger ous. The coroner, Mr. Richards, commented severely on the neglected and dangerous state of the reserve, which was a death trap. Tho totality occurred, durinp- a midnight bathing- party to a weil-F.::::wi« poo] in the reserve.
