“Right To Kill Case": Mrs Delving® has been committed for trial on a new charge of murdering ner mother, in what is described as a “right to kill case.” Sir Bernard and Dr Newton both gave evidence that death was due to exhaustion succeeding an abdominal operation, but accelerated by arsenic. Both added that the patient could not have recovered anyhow', as there was sufficient cause for death without the arsenic. Presidential Nomination—lt authoritatively stated that President Coolidge opposes the circulation of a petition proposing that he be a candidate for the Presidency in 1928. The announcement followed reports in tho newspapers that an endless chain of petitions urging him to run again had been circulated in New England with a view to arousing a general popular demand for his renomination.
