MAHORA CLUB’S CARNIVAL. HANDICAPS FOR TO-NIGHT. The Mahora Swimming Club will hold a carnival in the Mahora School Baths to-night and the following handicaps have been declared for the various events, which are scheduled to commence at 8 p.m.:— Schoolboys, 25yds.—J. HAVELOCK NORTH CLUB. LAST NIGHT’S CARNIVAL. The club carnival adjourned licm last Wednesday came off last night, where the weather was almost as cold as the previous week, although the water was warm. The attendance was very good considering the night and the enthusiasm was great Mr. Wally Leicester acted as announcer, Mr. A. Toop as starter, while Messrs. S. Graham and D. M. S. Millar were the judges. The results are as follows:— Nimon’s Cup.—First heat: Inglis 1, Graham 2, Clifton 3. Second heat: Rqach 1, Cairns 2; time 38 l-ssecs. Final: Roach 1, Ingles 2, Graham 3; time 31 4-ssecs Scouts, 25 yards.—First heat: Millar 1, Coates 2, Huff 3: time 22 3-5. Second heat: Timino 1 Woon 2, Bowen 3; time 20 4-5. Final: Woon 1, Timmo and Millar (dead heat) 2. Hobv Horse Race.—Roach I, Millar 2. Open Diving—Graham 1, Coates 2. Club’s 50 yards—Roach 1. Sharply 2, Kelly 3: time 37secs. Club’s 75 yards—Cairns 1.
