Stumps were then drawn. — (A. and N.Z.) H.B. ASSOCIATION MEETS. The H.B. Cricket Association held its fortnightly meeting last night, present, Messrs. B. Tweedie (chairman), C. Louisson, R. V. Worker, C. McGhee. C. Elmes, W. J. O'Cbnnell, J. R. Stevenson, C. Temperton, A. Signail, L. Fifield. The Borough Cotncil wrote granting thq Association the use of the ladies’ pavilion on Nelson Park on Saturdays only while their own is being altered. It was decided to transfer the No. 3 wicket junior match to No. 6 next Saturday, in view of the match against the Wairoa representatives. Saturday afternoon was decided upon as the occasion on which a presentation will be made to Mr. T. C Lowry, providing that date be suitable for Mr. Lowry. H. S. Stephenson, who applied for a transfer from H. 5.0.8. Club to Technical Old Boys was refused permission, Messrs. C. Elmes and C. McGhee alone voting in favour of it. It was decided to grant the clubs the use of a net owned by the association for use as a back net at practices.
