EBBETT PARK

OPENING CEREMONY TO-MORROW GARDEN FETE. A final reminder is given that the opening of Ebbett Park takes place at 2 p.m. to-morrow afternoon. The energetic ladies’ committee in connection with the garden fete have arrangements well in hand, and afternoon tea as well as ice creams will be served in the plantation inside the entrance.

Sweets, produce, fancy, soft drinks and many other stalls will be in operation, and the Hastings West School is holding a sports meeting, whilst folk dancing will be given by girls in fancy costumes, all of which should be well worth the trip to the park. Mr. Lord’s orchestra will enliven the proceedings.
