GOVERNMENT TO BE FORMALLY RECOGNISED. TREATY ABOUT TO BE SIGNED. [British Official Wireless.) (Received 22, 12.30 p.m.) Rugby, Nov. 21, In the House of Commons to-day the Hon. W. Ormsby-Gore, Undersecretary for the Colonies, stated that a treaty would shortly be concluded by which autonomous government in trans-Jordania would be formally recognised. Administration would still be carried on under the terms of the Palestine mandate, as modified by the League of Nations.
