TO-NIGHT'S CARNIVAL.
Final arrangements were made for the Heretaunga opening, to be hold this evening, at the committee meeting held last night. .’’riday’s programme was arranged as follows:—Boys' race (under 14), 25 yards• secondary school boys’ race, 25 yards; girls’ race, 25 yards: club handicap, 50 yards; ladies’ race, 25 yards; B grade handicap. 25 vards: novelty cock-fight; noveltv awkward entry; open diving; novice diving; teams’ race.
