MARKET REPORT. Messrs Gill Bros.’ entries on Saturday’ last were again exceedingly large, especially in the poultry and pig sections. Prices were on a par with the previous week. The following prices were realised :— Poultry: White Leghorn hens 3s 6d to 3s lid, White Leghorn cockerels 3s 9d to 4s 3d. heavy hens 3s 9d to Is 3d. Silver Wyandotte hens 4s fid to ose 3d, day-old chicks Is to Is sd. all at per each. Pigs: Weaners 19s to 255, stores 29s 6d to 345. porkers 35s to £2 2s fid, slips 22s to 28s. Dairy stock' 1 Jersey cow £6 15s. 1 at £4 15s, lat £4, lat 10s. A lot of useful sundries were also sold at satisfactory prices. Separator £9, gramophone £B, piano £27 10s vere also sold.
