The new Sultan of Morocco—The new Sultan, aged 18, takes the name of Moulay Mohammed Ben Yusmif, and reigns under a council regency.
Trotsky Superseded.—Ksandrov supersedes Trotsky, who is deposed from tho Chairmanship of the Central Concession Committee.
Soviet’s Objects: It is believed that the main object of Soviet participation in the disarmament conference is a desire to get in touch with Britain again, with a view to resumption of diplomatic relations.
Fears For Fishing Expedition: The Hobart police discovered a sailing boat half submerged in Barnes Bay, Bruny Island. There is no trace of the crew—lvo Sproule. Robert Wittison, Henry Booth, and Jack Wittison—who were on a fishing expedition. It is feared they are drowned.
