ALLIANCE PRESIDENT'S HOPES. Christchurch, Nov. 21. Addressing the Presbyterian General Assembly to-day, Mr. Charles Todd, president of the New Zealand Alliance, said: "I have every reason to beHeva that the Licensing BUI will be re-submitted to Parliament at the stage at which it was dropped, and I do hope and expect it will pass the third reading.”
