Mr. Leon Estabrooke. representing •the Internationa] Institute of Agriculture, at Rome, has arrived with the object of obtaining the co-opera-tion of the Commonwealth Government in a proposed world-wide agricultural census in 1930. He will later proceed to,New Zealand. Mr. Estabrooke states that the object of the censure Is to discover the areas under the cultivation of the principal crops and the amount of live stock in every country of the world, in order to determine the extent of the world’s food resources.
