Some women like to make their toilet creams and bath powders at home. The following formula for Oriental cold cream—the cream most frequently used in the East as a skin food—is one of many interesting recipes given in a book published in London recently, “Beauty Secrets and Recipes,’’ bv Sartaj D. Jouhar. Two ounces oil of sweet almonds, one drachm white wax. two ounces spermaceti. two ounces rose water, and half ounce orange flower water.
