(British Official Wireless). 1 (Received 19, 12.30 p.m.) Rugby, Nov. 18. It would appear from reports that the landing of airmen at Bialokrynic* took place on Wednesday afternoon. No further news of Captain Mclntosh and Bert Hinkler has been received from any quarter. Anxiety there, fore still prevails, especially as no authentic confirmation is availably that the airmen who landed in Po» land were actually Mclntosh ana Hinkler. GILES WAITS AWHILE. (Received 19, 10.25 a.m.) j San Francisco, Nov. 18. Captain Giles has again postponed his departure. He announced that he would not attempt to hop off to day after Captain Kinsford Smith’s monoplane, the Southern Cros, had made two test trials on behalf of Giles to observe atmospheric condi» tions, and reported these to be um favourable.—(A. and N.Z.)
