SIX WHEELERS
ROAD WEAR LESSENED.
NEW PROPULSION GAS.
(Received 19, 8.55 a.m.) London, Nov. 17. Sir James Parr, speaking at a commercial motor vehicles exhibition lunch at Olympia, expressed the opinion that the six wheeler would save 33 per cent, road wear. New hope had been aroused in propulsion by gas derived from charcoal and cow manure.
Sir James reiterated that attention to Dominion needs would reduce the present expenditure of £15,000,000 on foreign vehicles by Australia and New Zealand.
