ENGLISH VISIT RECOMMENDED
Wellington, Nov. 16.
The New Zealand Rugby Union management committee met to-night. A letter from the English Rugby Union, in reply to the invitation by New Zealand lor a team to visit the Dominion in 1930, stated that the request had been forwarded to the International Board with a strong recommendation for favourable consideration, and also a suggestion to include matches in New South Wales during the tour. The net profit of the trial matches, including the North v. South match, was £17'30.
