Wanganui exchanges note the death there, aged 77, of Mrs. Elizabeth Powdfell, widow of the late Mr. John D. Powdrell, of Kakaramea, near Patea. The deceased lady was a resident of the H.B. district in the old days, and it was here that she was married, removing shortly afterwards to Taranaki. Iler son, the late Mr. W. D. Powdrell, was member for Patea some few years back. A true bill was returned by the grand jury at.
