CAPTAIN GILES’S FLIGHT. TO HOP OFF TO-DAY. (Received 15, 11.10 a.m.) San Francisco, Nov 14. Captain Giles has announced that he will hop off to-morrow, weather permitting.—(A. and N.Z.) PACIFIC WEATHER FAVOURABLE. (Received 15, 1.5 p.m.) San Francisco Nov. 14. Workmen are preparing the runway for Captain Giles's possible take-off oil Tuesday. The ’plane has been pronounced perfect mechanically. The Government Bureau reports that the Pacific weather is favourable. Provision and fuel are on the field.—(A. and N.Z.) CAPT. SMITH READY. (Received 15, 1.5 p.m.) San Francisco, Nov. 14. Captain Kingsford Smith's ’plane at Monica is preparing to leave for San Francisco. The date of the take-off is not yet announced.—(A. and N.Z.)
