DRIFTER SUNK BY SUBMARINE
ALL ON BOARD SAVED.

Rugby, Nov. 13.
A drifter belonging to the battleship Revenge, which was taking an officer and 52 men ashore to Weymouth. was sunk by the Submarine L 56 last night. The drifter at once heaved over but before she went down all oh board were saved. The work of rescue was greatly helped by the light of a scor e of searchlights of the men-of-war in Portland Harbour.
