KATSUO TAKAISHI, a star Japanese swimmer who ranss in the first four swimming champions of the world. He is a member of the team that is at present touring in Australia. To oppose him the Australian champion, Andrew Charlton, came out of retirement and broke his own 880 yards world’s record by five seconds, easily beating Takaishi after a fine race.
