SIX MURDERS

POLISH FARMER ACCUSED. SENSATIONAL DEVELOPMENTS. (Received 18, 1.10 p.m.) Warsaw, Feb. 17. Mestivim, a wealthy Pi/ish farmer, was arrested at Bozan aud accused of six murders, recalling Landru’s. Mestivim was living in a big man sion with his mistress, who was a wellknown Warsaw society woman. She disappeared, and her daughter, who went to the mansion to look for her, also disappeared. Then a friend of the daughter vanished, followed by a chambermaid and governess. Finally, a Danzig engineer went to ;>tay with Mestivim and he disappeared. There were sensational developments as a large quantity of human bones were discovered.—(A. and N.Z.)
