The HAWKE'S BAY TIMES contains the latest Local, Interprovincial, General, Shipping, Commercial, and Telegraphic News. No effort is spared to make the napcr a thoroughly reliable epitome of the latest information from- all parts of the Province and Colony, and the utmost cam is taken to secure accuracy and impartiality in the department of reporting. Politically, the Hawke's Bay Times U entirely independent of any party. Public questions are dealt with upon their merits avoiding those personalities which disfigure a portion of the colonial press, In its original and selected matter alike, the Times will endeavor to maintain a high tone, and will be found always on the side of political and social reform.
