Hudson, J. Mortimer, master, arrived from Wairoa on Monday, and soiled for Mohaka yesterday morning. The schooner Mary Melville, Capt. J. Urquhart, arrived from Mercury Bay on Tuesday morning, with a cargo of timber. The s.s. Rangatira, Captain Lloyd, arrived from Wellington at midnight of Tuesday, after a long passage of thirty-one hours. Her new propellor seems to have done her little or no good. She returned to Wellington at 11 p.m, on Wednesday. The 8.8. Fairy arrived from Blackhead on Wednesday morning, with 65 bales wool. She was to leave for Wairoa during the night.
The brigantine Florida is loading for Napier at Melbourne. ' The s.s. Southern Cros3 steamed for Auckland at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, with 58 bead cattle, aud 326 sheep.
