Larrikinism is rife in Dunedin. In one week five boys were charged with larceny. At a meeting of the Wellington Cricket Club, it has been decided that a team should visit Napier during the Christmas holidays. The Grahamstown Star of the 19th inst. states that from a private letter received from Ohinernuri, it learns that all the money question in reference to the Ohinernuri purchase has been arranged, Te Moananui, who has been foremost in obstruction, lately withdrew opposition. A great talk commences to-day. It is expected to last a week. The principal business to settle will be the allocation of purchase-money for different lands on account of which money has been paid. Should the talk be ever so successful, it will take a month to arrange the boundaries and reserves. The presence of miners and storekeepers is deprecated as being likely to retard the opening of the country.
