T JOHN DAVIES ORMOND, Superin1, tendent of the Province of Hawke's Bay, do hereby proclaim that a Sale of Crown Lands will take place at the Crown Lands Office, Napier, on WEDNESDAY, the 30th day of September 1874, at noon precisely, when the Allotments of Land specified in the Schedule hereunto annexed (except such as may be reserved under the provision herein after mentioned), and which land has beon certified by the Commissioner of Crown Lands as being unavailable for agricultural purposes, will be put up to Public Auction at the upset price of five shillings an acre, in accordance with the Land Regulations of 4th March, 1853, and the additional regulations for the amendment and extension of the said regulations, recommended by the Superintendent and the Council of the Province of Wellington, Session 2, to the Governor. If at any time during the sale it may appear to the Commissioner of Crown Lands beneficial or expedient to reserve from sale any of the sections specified in tho said Schedule, or to vary the order in which they are to be put up, he is hereby authorized to do so. TENDERS will be received at this office up to the Bth of October for Draying 70,000 Railway and Tramway TOTARA SLEEPERS, from Danevirk to Takapau, in the Seventy-Mile Bush, about 2o miles; 40,000 of tho Sleepers are seven feet long by six by eight inches, and 30,000 are seven feet long by seven inches by five inches. One-third of the Sleepers to be delivered on or before the Ist day of February, 1875, and the remainder not later the Ist day of May, '1875.
