The stoppage of three more firms has been annouueed, namely. Sadler & Co., White, Mills & Co., Dowie & Woodgatc. 16th September. There have been more failures at Launceston. , In the oslate of Mills, White & Co, the direct liabilities are between £12,000 and £13.000. the contingent liability being—£2.i.ooo to £30.000. The only available asset is about £3OHO. The firm is indebted to Peters, Barnard & Co., £34.000 for accommodation bills.
