The Largest Sauce Manufactory in the World. —The fame of the " Yorkshire ltelish" has spread so wide that some account of the factory where it is produced may interest our readers. Few commercial houses have advanced with more rapid strides than that of Messrs Goodall, Backhouse and Co., Leeds, whose name and manufactures are now known throughout the globe. Recently they have erected in the heart of Leeds, and if&eing their old establishment, a building which, if equalled, is certainly not surpassed f&f and comprehensiveness of detail'ibsf any other wholesale establishment in five United Kingdom. Everything here is worfyfifj. by steam power; there is a handsome »b,ow-roorn £or druggists' sundries, and all th&t c&n he imagined to render the factory com-1 plete in every sense. A wonderful variety of products .are (turned out—baking powder, quinine wine, se., and, most important of all, the now justly famous " Yorkshire Relish." Messrs Goodallj JJackhpuse and Co., introduced this popular jgauce , about eight years ago, and already itsi sale I is over 300,000 bottles a month, Cer-1 tainlv this fully justifies Messrs Goodall, i Backhouse and Co. in regarding them- ' selves as the largest sauce manufacturers in the world. TliDy produced in effect a really good article, adopted an excellent trade mark, and then had the courage to offer it to the public at 6d a bottle—thus effecting quite a revolution in tho sauce trade.
