The HAWKE'S BAY TIMES contains the latest Local, Interprovincial , General , Shipping , Commercial, and Telegraphic Neivs. No effort is spared to make the vaper a thoroughly reliable epitome of the latest information from all parts of the Province and Colony, and the utmost care is taken to secure accuracy and impartiality in the department of reporting. Politically , the Hawke's Bay Times u entirely independent of any party. Public questions are dealt with upon their merits, avoiding those personalities which disfigure a portion of the colonial press. In its original and selected mutter alike, the Times will endeavor to maintain a high tone, ana ivill he found always on the side of political and social reform.
