Campbell, ar rived from Wairoa on Saturday, with cargo and passengers. The s.s. Rangatira, Captain C. Lloyd, arrived in harbor at 7 a.m. yesterday, from Wellington and Castle Point, and steamed for Poverty Bay about 7 p.m. The s.s. Macgregor.—The pioneer vessel of the new California!! service, the Macgregor, is described in the Mercantile Navy List and Maritime Directory, published by authority of the Board of Trade, as a screw steamship of 2,051 gross tonnage, and 1,326 registered tonnage. Her engines arc of 330 horse power. She was built at Kinghom, in Fifeshire, last year. She is 338 feet long by Mh feet beam, and the depth of her hold is 24" feet 9 inches. She appears to be, in every respect, a first class vessel.
