Surely, sweet eyes and irue, ■Turning to heaven thy vievr, Some of its softest blue Thou didst retain. Oh, may no cloud arise, But clear as evening skies, When daylight gently dies, Those eyes remain. With many a childish wile, Clear Toice and sunny smile, Thou didst our hearts beguile From care away.
