A Colorado paper gives a very graphic account of the descent of Clear Creek through the cafion, with its cliffs 2,000 feet to 3,000 feet high, by a ceuple of hoys in an open boat. They made the distance of 140 miles in two hours time, or more than a mile in a minute, shooting over falls and rapids of from 10 feet to GO feet in height, and finally bringing up safe on a sand-bar with the boat half full of water.
