W. Palmer, arrived in port last evening, from Auckland via Wangapoa, Awanui, Tologa Bay, and Poverty Bay, bringing about 32,000 feet timber. The schooner Saucy Lass, Captain J. Smith, from Auckland via Mercury Bay, arrived in the roadstead at 3 o'clock this afternoon. She brings a full cargo of timber. The s.s. Star of the South will steam for the Thames and Auckland at 7 p,m. to-morrow. The barque Gladiateur, 123 days from Liverpool, arrived at Auckland on the 7th inst. Cargo for Napier: 1,313 packages, Watt Brothers. There is some reason to believe that this vessel will herself come on to this port. The ship Harvest Home, which left London for Auckland on the 29th Sept., has on board the following cargo for Napier :—9 cases, Watt Bros, ; 1 case, B. Cashmore ; 1 case, order ; 8 packages, Large and Townley; 15 pckgs., order.
