Pawn, cutter, for Poverty Bay, on Monday evening Nevada, p.s., for the South, early Robert Henderson, ship, for London, early Mary Ann Hudson, ketch, for Wairoa, early ■*■ •*■ The schooner Cynthia, Captaia Giles, left Mercury Bay on Thursday, the sth inst., and had light northerly winds to Waimarama, where she arrived on Monday, 9th inst. Discharged 33,000 feet timber, and shipped 120 bales wool. Lefc for Napier at 230 p.m. yesterday, and arrived here, after a splendid run, at 4.30 p.m. Entered the Iron Pot this morning. The schooner Canterbury, from Lyftelton, which port she left on Monday last, 9ch inst., arrived in part this afternoon, bringing a full cargo of flour, oats, #c, consigned to Messrs. Stuart & Co. The barque Ballarat, Captain C. J. S. Grant, took her departure for London direct at 1 o'clock this morning, with cargo as reported in our hi3t. She was in excellent trim, and, with anything like an average share of fair weather, should give a good account of her sailing qualities—as she has already done on many occa lions. The brigantiue Amherst sailed for Newcastle last night, in ballast. The cutter Dawn will probably sail for Poverty Bay on Monday evening.
