PATENT for certain Improvements in the Construction and Manufacture of Revolving Berdan Basins, or Pans, used for the pulverisation, reduction, and amalgamation of Gold, Silver, or other ores, minerals, and any other substances, and in ihe apparatus employed therein. This is to notify that Edward Man Corbett, of Grahamstow n, Thames Gold Fields, in the Province of Auckland, ISfew Zealand, Engineer, did, on the sixteenth day of July last, deposit at the office of the Patent Officer, in the Colonial Secretary's Office, in Wellington, a specification or instrument in -writing under his hand and seal, parti cularly describing and ascertaining the nature of the said invention, and in what manner the same is to be performed; and that by reason of such deposit the said invention is protected and secured to Mm exclusively for the term of six calendar months thence next ensuing. And I do further notify that the paid Edward Man Corbett haw given notice in writing at my office of Ids intention to proceed with his application ior Letters Patent for the said invention, and I have appointed FPIDAY, the fifteenth day of November next, at eleven o'clock in the forenoon, at my office, to hear and consider the said application and all objections thereto; and I do hereby require all persons having an interest in opposing the grant of such Letters Patent to leave, on or before the eleventh day of November, at my office in Wellington, particulars in writing of their objections to the said application, otherwise they will be precluded from urging the same.
