Saturday, 'Nor. 30. A fire occurred yesterday evening by which two cottages iu Fiilieul street were destroyed. They were uninsured. An attempt to start a new morning paper has failed, on account of disputes on the part of the promoters.

Saturday, Nov. SO. A bush fire, lighted for the purpose of clearing, spread extensively, completely surrounding the township of Clinton. The smuko and flames are so dense that it is impossible to get to the township and ascertain the damage* It is known that three houses on the outskirts have been destroyed.
NELSON.
Saturday, Nov. SO. Mr Luckie addressed his constituents last night. His speech here reference to some of the events of last session. He said an income and property tax was inevitable. He received a vote of confidence and thanks.
