ATENT for certain Improvements in the Const ruction and Manufacture of Revolving Berdan. Basins, or Pans, used for the pulverisation, reduction, and amalgamation of Gold, Silver, or other ores, minerals, and any other substances, and in the apparatus employed therein. This is to notify that Edward Man Coebett, of Grahainstoun, Thames Gold Fields, in the Province of Auckland, New Zealand, Engineer, did, on the sixteenth day of July last, deposit at the office of the Patent Officer, in the Colonial Secretary's Office, in Welling ton, a specification or instrument in writing under his hand and seal, parti cularly describing and ascertaining the nature of the said invention, and in wha,t manner the same is to be performed ; and that by reason of such deposit the said invention is protected and secured to him exclusively for the term of six calendar months thence next ensiling. And I do further notify that the said Edward Man Corbett has given notice in writing at my office of his intenl ion to proceed with his application lor Letters Patent for the said invention, and I have appointed FRIDAY, the fifteenth vlay of November next, at eleven o'clock in the forenoon, at my office, to hear and consider the said application and all objections thereto; and I do hereby require all persons haying an interest in opposing the grant of such Letters Patent to leave, on or before the eleventh day of November, at my office in Wellington, particulars in writing of their objections to the said application, otherwise they will be precluded from urging the s>ame.
