OTXCE is hereby given that Go vernment Insurance and An nuities Offices, under *'The Government Annuities Act, 1869," and " The New-Zealand Government; Insurance and Annuities Act, 1870," have been opened at the Pest Offices at NAPIER, TAURANGA, GREYTOWN, And all the principal Money Orsei Offices in the Colony. The following advantages are secured by special provisions in the abovementioned Acts : 1. Up to a certain amount, Aesur ance Policies bona fide effected by the Assured upon his own lite, and Endowment Policies, and Annuities purchased for the benefit of Wife or Children, are exempted from the operation ot bankruptcy Acts, and from seizure under legal process. 2. Up to a certain amount, Married Women may effect Policies, and dispose of the money assured by will, as i 4 single; and such Policies are free from the debts and control of their husband*. 3. Insurances may be effected for the benefit of Wife and Children, with power to apportion amount; and such insurance is to be free from the claim of creditors, to the extent of £2,000 All persons wishing to obtain Life Insurances, Endowments, Annuities, immediate or deferred, or other- advantages under the Acts, will receive every information and the necessary forms on application at an 7 of the above named offices.
