Luna, Capt. Fairchild, arrived in port at 4.30 this morning, i'roru the North. She leaves again on Saturday, we belit-ve, fv-r Wellington. The s.s. .Rangatira steamed hence for Wellington via the coast last night, with 43 bales wool, 37 sheep, 1 entire horse (Gownsman), and other cargo ; also, se veral passengers. The schooner Hero sailed for Wairoa last night, with a general cargo. The brigantine Kate Kearney, Captain Meyer, will probably sail for Wellington to-night, with 4 tons s>ap, and 107 bales wool. The brigantine E3ther having b.-en partially repaired, was yesterday floated, and brought into the Iron Pot, where she now lies. What the next step will be we we have not heard, but it is not intended to place her on the slip.
