LATENT for certain Improvements in the Const motion and Manufacture of Revolving Berdan Basins, or Pans, used for the pulverisation, reduction, and amalgamation of Gold, Silver, or other ores, minerals, and any other substances, and in ihe apparatus employed therein. This is to notify that Edward Man Cobbett, of Grahamstoswi, Thames Gold Fields, in the Province of Auckland, New Zealand, Engineer, did, on the sixteenth day of July last, deposit at the office of the Patent Officer, in the Colonial Secretary's Office, in Welling top, a specification or instrument iu writing under his hand and seal, parti cnlarly describing and ascertaining the nature of the said invention, and in what manner the same is to be performed ; and that by reason of such deposit the said invention is protected and secured to him exclusively, for the term of six calendar months thence next ensuing. And I do further notify that the said Edward Man Corbett has given notice iu writing at my office of his intenl ion to proceed with his application ior Letters Patent for the said invention, and I have appointed FRIDAY, the fifteenth day of November next, at eleven o'clock in the forenoon, at my office, to hear and consider the sai'i application and all objections thereto; and I do hereby rcquiro all persons having an interest in opposing the grant of such Letters X'atent to leave, on or before the eleventh day of November, at my office in Wellington, particulars in writing of their objections to the said application, otherwise they will he precluded from urging the same.
