Hero, schooner, for Wairoa, to morrow night Dawn, cutter, for Poverty Bay, to-mor-row, at 1 p.m. The cutter Dawn, for Poverty Bay, will sail to-morrow morning should the weather permit. The schooner Hero, for Wairoa, and the cutter Margaret, for Poverty Bay and Auckland, will also proceed to sea when a favorable change in the weather takes place. The tonnage loading on the berth at London, Sept. 5, tor India, China, and the Cape of Good Hope amounted to 35,503 tons, and for Australia and New Zealand to 37,203 tons. At the Thames Police Court, London, on the 20th August, C. Reynolds, the master of the Cseleno, was summoned by J. Smart, seaman, for £5 16a, on a voyage from Welliugton to London. The complainant joined at Wellington as an able seaman, at £4 per month, and his wages had been reduced for incompetency to £2 per month, as ordinary seaman. His refusal of duty consisted of declining to go aloft when requested by the captain to do so, and his ground for such refusal was because he felt giddy. The magistrate said it was not shown that the complainant was competent to go the voyage when he signed articles, and dismissed the summons. Eighty guineas premium is being asked upon the well-known China clipper Ariel, from London to Sydney, She is (or was) one of the fiuest vessels afloat, and is the property of Messrs. Shaw, Maxon and Co., of London.
