This is to notify that Edward Man Corbett, of Grahamstow n, Thames Gold Fields, in the Province l of Auckland, New Zealand, Engineer, did, on the sixteenth day of July last, deposit at the office of the Patent Officer, in the Colonial Secretary's Offiee, in Wellington, a specification or instrument in writing under his hand aud seal, parti culurly describing and ascertaining the nature of the said invention, and in what manner the same is to be performed ; and that by reason cf such deposit the said invention is protected and secured to him exclusively for the term of six calendar months thence next ensuing. And I do further notify that the said JCdwakdMan Corbett has given notice in Wliting at my office of his intention to proceed with his application ior Letters Patent for the said invention, and ] have appointed FRIDAY, the fifteenth day of Nov.ember next, at eleven o'clock in the forenoon, at my office, to hear and consider the sai'i application and all objections thereto; and I do hereby require ail persons having an interest in opposing the grant of such Letters Patent to leave, on or before the eleventh day of November, at my office in Wellington, particulars in writing of their objections to the said application, otherwise they will be precluded from urging the smio.
