Florence, schooner, from Dunedin Ballarat, barque, from London Dawn, cutter, from Poverty Bay Hero, schooner, from Wairoa and Whakaki Greenwich, cutter PROJECTED DEPARTURES. Hero, schooner, for Wairoa, early DawD, cutter, for Poverty Bay, tomorrow The schooner Florence, C. Campbell, master, left Dunedin on the 4th instant, and had variable winds to Moeraki, where she arrived on the 5 th. Left again on the 9th, and had fresh southerly wind to Cape Palliser, on the 11th. From thence, had baffling head winds to Cape Kidnapper, last night, when a light wind from the southward sprung up, and carried her to port. Stood off and on until 7.30 this morning, when she entered the Iron Pot. The Florence is a vessel of about 54 tons register, and is the bearer of a full general cargo. The s.s. Rangatira left Wellington at 5.25 last evening, for Castle Point, Napier, Poverty Bay, Taurauga, and Auckland. She will probably arrive here (luring to-night. We understand that the new propeller which has recently been fitted into the steam launch Lily has had the effect of increasing, in a marked degree, that smart little boat's powers of speed. The schooner Saucy Lass may now be considered due at this port with a cargo of timber from Mercury Bay. The mail steamer Nevada left Auckland for Napier and other Southern Ports at 5.40 last evening. The cutter Dawn will leave for Poverty Pay to-morrow morning. The s.s. Keera, from Napier and Poverty Bay, arrived at Tauranga at 6 a.m. to-day, and left for Auckland at noop.
