Jjaetitia, schooner, for Auckland, tomorrow Columbia, schooner, for Mercury Bay, tomorrow Mary Ann Hudson, ketch, for Wairoa, early The s.s. Star of the South, from Auckland, may be looked for here to-night. The brigantine Esther, Captain James Campbell, left Napier on the 25th Sept., and had variable winds to Blackhead, where she arrived the next day. Landed cargo, and shipped 150 rams. Had bad weather on the coast, and had to seek shelter under Cape Kidnapper, anchoring there on Monday. Owing to a heavy S.E. sea left there on Tuesday night, and arrived here yesterday, as mentioned in our last. The ketch Glimpse and brigantine Oriti were at anchor under Kidnapper in company with the Esther, and both left on Tuesday night, bound South. After shipping provisions and fodder for the sheep, the Esther will resume her voyage to Wellington, should the weather permit. Ihe cutter Dawn, for Poverty Bay, with a miscellaneous cargo, sailed hence to-day.
