Jlero, schooner, for Wairoa, on Saturday Nebraska, p.s., for Auckland, on Monday next The cutter Dawn sailed hence at 9 a.m. to-day, for Mahia and Poverty Bay, with a general cargo. The brigantine Esther sailed for Wellington via the coast at 2.30 this after* noon, with a miscellaneous cargo—=part original, and part shipped here. The s.s. Star of the South, 50 hours from Napier, arrived at Grahamstowu at 1 1.30 a.m. to-day. The ship Hydaspes, from London, arrived at Port Chalmers on the 20th jnst., with 171 immigrants. The ship St. Leonards, from London, arrived at Lyttelton on the 24th instant, with 140 immigrants. The ship Excelsior was to have sailed from Wellington on the 21st inst., for Jjondon, with a cargo of wool, flax, &c.
The ship Electra, recently arrived from Jiondon, was to have left Wellington for Newcastle on the 25th inst., for a cargo of coal for the N.Z.S.S. Co. On her return to Wellington she would be placed on the berth for London.
