[N consequence of the continued L neglect of persons to register their dogs, notwithstanding the advertise tisements in the papers from the Inspect or of Police on the subject, and as there appears to be some misapprehension in i*egard to the requirements of the Act, the Inspector informs the peoplo concfcrDed, that the year is not to be computed from the date on which each individual may have registered his dog, but from January in each year, in which month after the first registration, each succeeding registration requires to be made. That the absence of a collar from the neck of a dog, though the same dog may have heen duly registered, will subject the owner to the penalties of the Act.
