I" OTICE is hereby given that Go I vernment Insurance and An nuities Offices, under "The Govern ment Annuities Act, 1869," and " The New Zealand Government Insurance and Annuities Act, 1870," have been opened at the Pest Offices at NAPIER, TAURANGA, GREYTOWN, And all the principal Money Ordei Offices in the Colony. The following advantages are secured by special provisions in the abovementioned Acts : 1. Up to a certain amount, Assur ance Policies buna fide effected by the Assured upon his .own life, and Endowment Policies, and Annuities purchased for the benefit of Wife or Children, are exempted from the operation oi Bankruptcy Acts, and from seizure under legal process. 2. Up to a certain amount, Married Women may effect Policies, and dispose of the money assured by will, as i* single; and such Policies are free from the debts and control of their husband*. 3.
