In the Resident Magistrate's Court this morning, one drunkard was fined five shillings. The long over due English mail via San Francisco has at length reached the Colony. The ps; Nevada, from Honolulu, having the mail on board, arrived at Auckland at 8 o'clock this morning. Mails for Australia close at Auckland at 11 a.m. to-morrow (Thursday,] Telegrams intended for transmission by this opportunity received at Napier till 9 a.m. We observe from the European Mail that the barque Ballarat, now on her voyage from London to this port, has on board 2io Government immigi'ants.
