FROM GREVILLE'S TELEGRAM COMPANY.. WELLINGTON. Monday, August 5. The Independent in an art icle in its monthly summary, published this morning, admits the weakness of the Ministry, and says it is probable that a direct vote of want of confidence will be movedafter the delivery of the Budget, in viliich case the present occupants of the Ministerial benches will have a hard, fight to hold their seats. The dent also says it is undeniable that the Government of the day has been guilty of many shortcomings and mistakes.
