Ti e Nawab of Etampgre, a Mohammedan, lias presented an esMite worth ,=£ 10,000 to the MethoJist Episcopal Mission, in the north-west province of India. In a report of a grain and seed show,, recently held at Kiverton,, a Southland contemporary says :—"Of the variety known as providence oats, it is stated that over 20,000 bushels were harvested this season in. the district, the produce of a parcel of four ounces, imported from Scotland through the post-office, ft few vears ago."
