The s.s. Napier, Capt. Bendall, left Poverty Bay- at midnight on Saturday, the 29th ult., and anchored at Wangawehi at 5 a.m. on Sunday. In consequence of a strong souther lay there until 1 p.m. yesterday, when she left for .Mania ; landed cargo there, and shipped tallow, hides, &c.; left for Napier at 7.30 last evening, and arrived in the Iron Pot at 3 o'clock this morning. Cargo : 20 casks tallow, 5 bales sheepskin?, Watt Brothers; 1 bale wool, Kinross & Co. —Capt. Bendall reports that when the Napier left Waugawehi yesterday, the revenue cutter Kingleader, bound lor this port, was getting under weigh. . The schooner Columbia, Capt. M'Leod, left Port Ahuriri on the 18th ult.. and arrived atLyttelton on the 21st. Tojk in cargo, and left fur this port at 7 p.m. on Saturday, 29th ult., and made a rapid run of 48 hours to Cape Kidnapper—a strong S.VV. wind prevailing along the coast. Since entering the Bay at 7 o'cl )ck last evening, had to contend agaiust stiff N. and N.W. wind?, the vessel not reaching the anchorage until ujou to-dry. Cargo ; 490 bags oats, 20 tons fbur, and 2 tons cheese. The revenue cutter Ringleader, from Poverty Bay and the coasi, arrived in port this afternoon. The s.s. Star of the South, from this port, arrived at Grahamstown (Thames) at 3 p.m. yesterday, having made the passage in 51| hours.
