"We learn that it is intended to lay the g.s. Star of the South up at Auckland fur a few days after her arrival at that port this trip. The barque Free Trader may be looked for here shortly, from Newcastle, N.S.W,, with a cargo of coal for Mr J. H. Vautier. The brigantine Hector, from Warruarabool (Victoria), is now daily expected to arrive here with potatoes, &c. The s.s. Napier, from Poverty Bay, may be now considered due. The schooner Alice leaves for Poraugahau to-morrow (Tuesday). The cargo of the brigantine Esther, hence for Wellington on Saturday last, consisted of 88 cases tallow, 5 bales, XO bdls, and 1 dump wool, shipped by Messrs JCinruS3 and Co.
